How Vassar College Health Service Went Live on Point and Click in Three Weeks

Vassar College

Vassar College Health Service moved to Point and Click in three weeks and cut scheduling back-and-forth with self-bookable referral links and Google Calendar sync.

When Vassar College Health Service needed to fully transition to a new system in just three weeks, ahead of their previous vendor's contract expiration, Point and Click delivered an implementation that hit every deadline and a rollout their team is still seeing benefits from today.

THE TRANSITION
Vassar's timeline left no room for delay. The team needed the entire implementation completed within three weeks, before their contract with their previous vendor ran out. Point and Click worked closely with them through the process and met each deadline along the way. A deployment workbook helped keep both teams organized and on track, which Vassar credits as a key part of staying on schedule.

ONBOARDING
The onboarding process was structured and easy to follow. Online modules let staff learn the product ahead of time, and drop-in Zoom sessions gave the team a way to work through one-off questions as they came up. Vassar described the Point and Click team throughout this process as dependable, professional, and knowledgeable.

EARLY WINS
Since going live, student feedback has been positive, particularly around how easy it is to schedule appointments and check in. Self-bookable referral links have cut out the back-and-forth emails that used to come with scheduling, and Google Calendar sync has helped prevent double-booking for staff who split their time between clinical and administrative work.

The Chat feature has also stood out. With the department spread across two floors, it has made communication faster and easier across the team, and the ability to link patient charts directly in chat has cut down on both wasted time and communication errors.

The use of self-bookable referral links has streamlined the workflow and has ended back and forth email communications for appointment scheduling. Using Google Calendar sync has prevented accidental double booking when managing administrative and clinical schedules. I would strongly recommend this for any administrator who divides their workday between clinical and administrative tasks.
